This procedure uses techniques taken from 'Nuad Thai' - loosely translated as 'Thai Yoga'.
The massage focuses on specific pressure points and also uses gentle stretching. For a good traditional massage, we use a futon on the floor rather than a standard massage table. If you prefer a "stationary" and more relaxing treatment, we recommend a Thai aromatherapy massage.
We can adapt the traditional massage to simpler stretches that we perform on the table - discuss with us what you would like!

Our favorite therapy is an exceptional massage by oiling the body and practicing pure relaxation. It is a complete treatment that combines the soothing and physiological power of massage with the therapeutic properties of relief thanks to aromatic essential oils. Each essential oil is extracted from a specific plant or bark. Each has its own unique properties - relaxing or invigorating as needed - through skin absorption and inhalation.
So just lie down and let the oils work for your well-being. Let go of tension and stress. and anxiety. At the end of your massage, we will use warm towels to remove the oil and you will feel rejuvenated, refreshed and wonderfully relaxed.
At Thai Corner we only use baby oil. Using the fingers, palms and forearms, we gently apply appropriate pressure to the muscles and pressure points. The pressure is sufficient to release muscle tension, so the deeper layers of the muscles are not targeted as in a deep tissue massage.

Foot massage has been practiced for centuries in many cultures to promote health and well-being. Traditional Asian culture linked different parts of the body to different reflex points on the feet – for example, linking the eyes to the second and third toes.
The idea was that if you had a problem with your liver, for example, the pain could be alleviated by massaging the inside of your left leg. Today, however, the practice involves applying pressure to all the traditional reflex points on the feet and legs. These points run along energy lines called 'sen' (analogous to 'meridians' in Chinese medicine).
